Growing up in Cardinal country as a Braves fan

For generations my family has been Cardinal fans, mostly due to living in Missouri. I grew up in Missouri surrounded by Cardinal fans during one of the high points in that franchises history, the 1980s. The Cardinals went to 3 World Series in 5 years. The whole time I was a Braves fan. Now most people think of the Braves as a very successful franchise, but at that time they were the worst. Granted they did play the Cardinals in the League Championship series in 1982, but soon after they were losing 100 games a year.
Needless to say I was the focus of a lot of jokes about being a Braves fan while the Cardinals were winning. This didn't bother me since I knew/hoped one year the Brave would win it all. As I got older I noticed alot of people respected me for staying with the Braves and not jumping over to a more successful franchise. They still joked about it with me but it was more about a rivaly and less making fun of me about it.
It taught me a good lesson about life, people respect you if you stick by your decisions or change only after having more information. My being a Braves fan is till a topic between me and my friends and family and I am a better person because of it.

This is a very helpful website allowing a user to quickly get to bookmarks from anywhere. Also allowing you to search the other users and find more websites dealing with what you are looking for. Professionall this type of website might save time and get better answers for reference questions.
I didn't find it all that easy to understand what websites were coming up. And since the users tag their own bookmarks it can be a bit confusing as to why a bookmark came up, but usually they will be relavent to what you are looking for.
Not sure if I will use the website, not because I don't see a need, but more because I don't bookmark that many websites.
